Comtac LPN LoRaWAN Modbus Bridge EM

Comtacs LPN Modbus Bridge is designed to make integration of Modbus-devices over LoRaWAN easy. It acts as a RS485 Modbus Master, reading the registers of connected devices locally to transmits the values by LoRaWAN.

The product is designed for professional and industrial use, with a compact form factor, weather proof and UV-stabilized IP65 enclosure that can be wall or DIN-rail mounted (DIN-mounting requires optional adapter). Antenna is provivded with the device and it has a regular SMA-female antenna connector, allowing for optimal placement of external antennas if needed.

The Modbus Bridge EM fits a wide range of purposes, but is specifically designed to support typical applications within energy measurements. It has several imporant features to ensure accountability of your data.

• Readout and transmission of up to 16 x 32 registers 
• Real-time clock (RTC) with LoRa Downlink sync. Allows for synchornized reading of meters at different locations for accounting.
• Time-stamped transmissions pr block
• Register blocks are read and transmitted a complete blocks over LoRaWAN to ensure data consistency
• Status pr register block ("OK" or "Modbus-error", "Timeout" etc.)
