Milesight EM310-UDL is a LoRaWAN based, battery powered sensor measuring distance to the nearest object using ultrasound.

The dual ultrasound sensors ensures a wide beam while drastically reducing the dead-zone of detection as compared to single-sensor devices. For this reason the EM310 is especially suitable for Smart Waste applications, measuring fill levels in waste bins, containers and the like. With its compact and robust design, featuring IP67 protection and wide operating temperature, the sensor can be mounted virtually anywhere, indoors as well as outdoors.

In addition to ultrasound, the EM310 features a 3-axis accellerometer. This allows it to detect orientation and thus report open/closed status of lids and covers.
