Milesight UG63 - Mini LoRaWAN Gateway
Milesight UG63 is a lightweight, indoor 8-channel LoRaWAN gateway with a minimalistic, unobtrusive design so it fits in anywhere. This gateway is great for indoor coverage if you want to create your own private LoRaWAN, and it works excellently for covering indoor blind spots in larger LoRaWAN infrastructures.
The UG63 comes in 4 different variants. With or without integrated 4G LTE capability, in addition to option of PoE-PD.
Small in Size, Big on connectivity
Sticking to minimalism, the UG63 is compact with an elegant and aesthetic appreance. It can be installed anywhere with its unobtrusive size and design. But it still delivers on connectivity, adopting the Semtech SX1302 LoRa Chip, UG63 supports connection with more than 2000 LoRaWAN nodes.
- 8 Channels
- Up to 2000 end-nodes
- Global Frequency Plans
- Up to 2km communication range in urban areas
Cost Effective Blind Spot Coverage
The UG63 is a cost-effective device, designed to provide network coverage for dispersed small-scale applications, where the number of end-nodes is limited. Furthermore, with the Gateway Fleet-feature the UG63 is particularly well suited to provide network coverage for indoor blind spots, in combination with a controller Gateway, such as the UG56, UG65 or UG67.
Gateway Fleet
The Gateway Fleet feature enables multiple agent gateways (up to 5 x UG63) to be controlled by a central controller gateway (UG56 / UG65 / UG67). This facilitates the deployment and management of larger, sprawling LoRaWAN networks and makes it possible to build a cost-effective indoor LoRaWAN by combining a controller Gateway with its embedded network server capability, with the cost-effective UG63 to increase the indoor coverage.
External antennas
The UG63 supports use of external antennas for optimizing coverage.
Easy Configuration via Wi-Fi
The UG63 offers local Wi-Fi connectivity for configuration. It only acts as an Access Point for up to 10-15 meters, and for maximum 2 clients. It cannot connect as a client to an access point.
The benefit is easy access for local configuration and management.
