PELICAN is an ideal device for locating, tracking and managing assets in difficult RF environments. This device combines the long range, low power benefits of LoRaWAN® with the universal availability and reliability of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

Designed for use in enterprise and industrial applications such as ship yards, construction sites, warehouses and manufacturing facilities, the PELICAN is robust, with wide temperature range and IP67 weather protection. In addition, battery performance has been optimzed to reduce maintenance needs, with possible operating life up to 15 years on a single C-cell battery. An integrated accelerometer enables smarter reporting based on movement, to further optimize power saving.

In addition to being deployed as a tracker, PELICAN can also be used as a BLE Beacon for your asset tracking solution. As a BLE Beacon PELICAN supports iBeacon, Eddystne UID and TLM protocols and can operate for up to 18 months on batteries.
