EM400-TLD is a highly specialized product designed specifically for fill level monitoring in small and mini trash bins. It has a slim, robust design, large battery package enabling up to 10 years of service life and wireless data transmission using LoRaWAN.

EM400-TLD is the ideal solution for smart waste management, in addition to measuring fill levels, it measures temperature which can be use to detect fire and an integrated accellerometer to detect position of the lid, or trash bin itself.

High Accuracy Fill-level Monitoring

Laser based distance measuring based on ToF ensures high level of accuravy (+/- 1mm), with almost no blind spots as comapred with classic ultrasound based sensors.

Device Position Monitoring

Equipped with an integrated 3-axis accelerometer, EM400-TLD can detect tilting to monitor status of the trash bin lid or trash bin itsel.

Binfire monitoring

EM400-TLD uses an NTC thermistor to monitor temperature inside the trash bin, rising or high temperature can indicate risk of fire.

Rugged and Reliable

EM400-TLD is designed with an IP67 rated enclosure, ensuring it is protected against dust, liquid and other environmental hazards. The enclosure itself is made of flame retardant materials ABS and PC.

The sensor is also made with conformal coating of the PCB providing an extra layer of protection against moisture, dust and contaminants that can damage the electronics - and can operate from -30 to +70°C.

In total, this ensures the EM400-TLD can work in harsh environments and secure long and stable operation.

Ultra Long Battery Life

EM400-TLD is equipped with 2 x 9000 mAh batteries, enabling it to operate for even over 10 years.

The batteries are easily replacable, ensuring easy installation and maintenance.
