Milesight EM400-UDL-C100 - Ultrasonic Distance Sensor

Milesights EM400-UDL is a series of rugged and flexible ultrasonic distance sensors based on LoRaWAN. The devices come with durable IP67 enclosures, made for outdoor use in harsh environments and ultra long battery life of up to 10 years. Three different models are available: Standard, PRO and Snow Level. In addition, each model has various version for detection range.
Battery powered and wireless Ultrasonic sensors can be a great and cost-effective way to achieve a more effective level measurement for many types of applications. EM400-UDL can typically be used for things like;
- Boiler Expansion Monitoring
- Tank Fill Level
- Barn / Silo Fill Level
- Sewer and man-hole level level monitoring
- Snow Level Monitoring
In addition to Ultrasonic sensors, the EM400-UDL contains a 3-axis accelerometer to detect tilt and an NTC Thermistor to measure temperature.

Rugged and Reliable
EM400-UDL is designed with an IP67 rated enclosure, ensuring it is protected against dust, liquid and other environmental hazards. The enclosure itself is made of flame retardant materials ABS and PC.
The sensor is also made with conformal coating of the PCB providing an extra layer of protection against moisture, dust and contaminants that can damage the electronics - and can operate from -30 to +70°C.
In total, this ensures the EM400-UDL can work in harsh environments and secure long and stable operation.
Ultra Long Battery Life
EM400-UDL is equipped with 2 x 9000 mAh batteries, enabling it to operate for even over 10 years.
The batteries are easily replacable, ensuring easy installation and maintenance.
